A couple of weeks ago I started a gig that has me giving up remote work and going into an office on a regular basis for the first time in a couple of years.
Now that I now have a commute again means I have about an hour a day where I can get caught up on my favorite podcasts and audiobooks.
I listen to a variety of different podcasts – some about writing, some about entrepreneurship, some about history, some about personal development, and of course some product related ones.
Here are the product related podcasts I listen to on a regular basis. I encourage you to try one, or all of them out to get some good practical advice from fellow product people.
Intercom builds a suite of messaging-first products that all modern internet businesses can use to accelerate growth across the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to engagement, and support. I’ve mentioned them before as an example of an agile organization that doesn’t feel the need to proclaim that they are agile.
The folks at Intercom use their Inside Intercom podcast to share their own stories and stories from other organizations. There’s product management related information as well as information about starting and running a growing business.
Suzanne Abate started the 100 PM podcast when she realized that she kept answering the same questions each time she taught a product management class. She figured the best way to answer those product management related questions was to interview 100 product managers from a variety of different companies to provide a wide range of perspectives. If you want to hear what product management is all about from a variety of perspectives, check out this podcast.
